Functional Assessment- Assessing the clients posture, walk, daily activities along with hearing about where they feel their pain I determine what muscles need to be strengthened and what muscles need stretched or lengthened. Then find the correct massage plan to help correct the pain or imbalances for long lasting relief!

Acupressure- Similar to Acupuncture, instead of using needles, the use of fingertips is used. When these points are lightly touched, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's energy to help heal.

Cranial sacral therapy- This is a very light touch technique with the client fully clothed that helps to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries. This can decrease pain from migraine headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ disorder and more.

Deep Tissue-This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, commonly to help with muscle damage from injuries.

Hot Stone-Stones that are heated to a certain temperature then used to massage the client the help relax, improve circulation and lymph flow. If you are looking to detoxify your organs this is possible by using hot and cold stones to flush the blood through your organs.

Reflexology- By working certain points and areas on the feet and hands, it is believed that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems. By working them it can benefit the entire body.

Reiki-By using energy the therapist helps it flow through the client’s body. It is believed that energy can be low or high in areas of the body with can cause pain or dysfunction. Helping the body even out the energy helps the healing in these areas. This is a fully clothed modality.

Russian- Using protocols, pre/post event. This helps with the flow of fluid which will help the muscles heal faster and have less pain.

Shiatsu-Much like acupressure this is an energy modality, by using finger and palm pressure to open energetic pathways, known as meridians to open up the energy flow.

Structural Integration-Is a modality that helps with postural issues, it is an intense massage, which helps lengthen and stretch tissue to restore the body to the correct posture.

Swedish Massage- This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, circular movements, vibration and tapping to stimulate blood flow and help you relax.

Thai-Performed on a Thai mat on the floor (or a table if requested) using the hands and arms to knead the body and incorporate many stretches to help the body move better and open up energy lines.

Trigger Point-This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse. Also known as working out knots.
